Office of Communications and Media

The Contra Costa County's Office of Communications and Media, a division of the County Administrator's Office, oversees public information and media relations. It is responsible for coordinating emergency communications countywide.

The Office also serves as the Cable Franchise Administrator and operates six Public, Educational and Governmental (PEG) Access Channels, including Contra Costa Television (CCTV), that all broadcast 24/7.

The Office of Communications and Media is committed to serving the County, its departments, and the public by providing cable television oversight, quality programming on countywide issues and services, and timely and accurate information to the media and the public.
