Under the current legal order to “Shelter-In-Place” issued by the Contra Costa County Health Officer, Public Works, along with other County offices, has been designated as an essential service.

WE ARE OPEN

However, we are limiting activities in public areas to essential business only to comply with the order and to reduce unnecessary person to person contact. This is to help protect our customers and employees. 


Public Works staff will be available


Monday – Thursday 7am - 5pm

Friday 7am – 4pm, closed 12-1 on Fridays only

Contra Costa County Public Works has begun construction on two major projects in the City of Martinez.  The new County Administration Building and the new Public Safety Building and Emergency Operations Center which is nearing completion.  Click on the pictures below for current details about these projects.

2020 Contra Costa County Public Works Engineering Services Land Development On-Call

 The previously scheduled pre-solicitation meeting set for Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the Public Works Department in Conference Room G from 10:00 am to 11:00 am has tentatively been rescheduled for April 22, 2020, at the Public Works Department in Conference Room A from 10:00 am to 11:00 am to discuss the RFQ. The deadline for submitting the Statement of Qualification has also been extended from April 16, 2020 by 2 PM to May 7, 2020. For a copy of the RFQ and sample Consulting Services Agreement, or to post and review questions, please go to Ebidboard. The Ebidboard will be updated to reflect any future date changes as needed.”
