Assessment Appeals is separate from the Assessor's Office and was established to decide disputes between property owners and the Assessor's Office. It is staffed from within the Clerk of the Board by the Assessment Appeals Secretary. Disputes are heard by the Assessment Appeals Board, which is composed of members appointed by the Board of Supervisors.

Once completed, mail application and $40 check to:

Regular Assessment Appeals must be filed between July 2 and November 30 of each calendar year.

Supplemental or Escape assessments must be filed within 60 days of the notice from the Assessor.
