kids coloringOur Pre-Kindergarten classroom is a place where our older preschool children will be challenged, while learning through play. Math concepts, phonics, letter writing and recognition and even sight words will be taught through fun experiences and activities with the goal of preparing them for Kindergarten. Your child will learn to resolve their own conflicts and work cooperatively in a group environment. You will enjoy seeing them grow independently as they express a desire to do things on their own.

In the Pre-Kindergarten classroom there is a balance of structured learning as well as several learning centers that encourage children to choose activities on their own, blocks & building, art & writing, dramatic play, math manipulatives & puzzles and a library. Our complimentary mix of structured and individual choice learning activities allow children to explore and learn at their own pace and allows for one on one time with their teacher.

We know how important it is to keep you informed about your child's progress. You will receive daily feedback from your child's' teacher as well as teacher conferences and developmental progress reports offered twice per year.

Our goal is for your child to enjoy school and learning while preparing them for Kindergarten.
