The Human Resources (HR) Department in conjunction with the Equal Employment Opportunity Office annually reviews and updates the outreach and recruitment action plan. Recruitment efforts and activities are supported and supplemented by active efforts of the operating Departments and Special Districts.
HR has developed relationships with community based organizations and leaders from protected groups to ensure that recruitment efforts are directed towards them. It is the policy of Contra Costa County not to discriminate based on the following protected categories:
