Humanitarian Recipients

Key to our ceremony is the presentation of the prestigious awards for Humanitarian of the Year and Student Humanitarian of the Year in Contra Costa County.

Velma Wilson was selected as the 2020 Humanitarian of the Year, and a recent graduate of Middle College High School in San Pablo, Kimyatta Newby was the Student Humanitarian of the Year.
