Contra Costa County is committed to reducing its green footprint. The County maintains many public records in digital form stored in computer systems. The links below will bring you to two different views of a catalog of County computer systems that contain official records of information used in conducting the public's business. This catalog is provided here pursuant to the California Public Records Act, and is also available at the Clerk of the Board's office.
You can request information contained in County computer systems by contacting the custodial County department of the records, as indicated in the catalog. Please note, however, that certain records are not publicly available due to statutory restrictions.
County policy permits the County to charge a fee to cover any duplication, electronic media, and/or data system programming costs. Generally, copies are:
$0.10 for a single-sided page
$0.20 for a double-sided page
$3.00 for a data compact disc
Data system programming costs related to extracting, compiling, and displaying data are dependent on the request and the system on which data is stored, and will vary on a case-by-case basis. It some cases, data may be available at no charge.
