Clerk of the Board is responsible for the care and custody of official records for the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County.

The Clerk of the Board supports the County by recording and maintaining official records of the County and providing a wide range of public information to elected officials, appointed bodies, members of the public and County staff.

County Ordinances (1905-present)

            Ordinances create or change County law. 

County Resolutions (1961-present)

            Resolutions express the Boards policy or direction to the County Administrator and generally take effect upon adoption. A resolution may be amended or rescinded by a subsequent resolution. 

Meeting Agendas (1957-present)

            An agenda is a list of meeting activities indicating the order in which they are to be taken up, by beginning with the call to order and ending with adjournment. It usually includes one or more specific items of business to be discussed. 

Meeting Minutes (also called annotated agendas) (1852-present)

Minutes are the official record of the meeting.
