Urban Air Mobility is in the process of developing 8+ acres at the Byron Airport for aviation uses designed to attract UAS and aviation technology businesses to BATS. The development is proceeding in two phases with each phase approximately 4 acres in size. The Phase 1 development will include 5 large executive hangars as well as smaller private aircraft storage hangars and is expected to break ground by the end of 2020. See the site plan and example rendering video below for a visual representation of the development.
Urban Air Mobility is a joint-venture between MS Commercial, Inc. and Nearon Enterprises, two Bay-Area based real estate investment and construction firms. With the formation of BATS, Urban Air Mobility immediately recognized the exciting opportunity to be a leader at the forefront of the facilities development at the Byron Airport. Please email Taylor Stein [email protected] of Nearon Enterprises for more information on the Urban Air Mobility facilities being developed at the Byron Airport.
