Building Security Screening Process

If there are large groups of people, the security screening process may take longer than normal. County Administration and the Board of Supervisors want to ensure everyone’s safety when entering the building. The screening process includes placing personal items through an X-ray machine and physically walking through a metal detector.

  1. Screening consists of placing items such as metals (coins), belts, cell phones, and all electronics into a container prior to walking through a metal detector.
  2. Screening may include a hand-wand inspection.
  3. All bags, laptops, backpacks, fanny packs, briefcases, document cases and containers, etc. will be screened through the X-ray machine.
  4. Please remove hats, caps, and sunglasses upon entering the building.
