Brentwood, CA—Supervisor Diane Burgis announced changes to her office staff, including the resignation of her chief of staff, Mark Goodwin, on June 17th.

“Mark has been an invaluable advisor and skilled leader of my team,” said Supervisor Burgis. “His depth of knowledge about issues impacting the county, coupled with his strategic and analytical leadership style, ensured the highest level of service to our constituents. I wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

"It's been an honor and a pleasure working for Supervisor Burgis," said Goodwin, "and I'm very grateful for the opportunity."

"Teresa brings a wealth of experience to the role, and I look forward to continuing to work with her," said Supervisor Burgis. Gerringer formerly served as the district director for California State Senator Steve Glazer (D-Orinda,) as the chair of the Contra Costa Transportation Authority, and she currently serves as mayor of Lafayette.

Burgis also announced hiring Elissa Robinson and Stephen Griswold as district representatives, joining Alicia Nuchols, Manny Bowlby, and Dawn Morrow.
