2015 Contra Costa County Watershed Symposium

The 5th Quadrennial Contra Costa County Creek and Watershed Symposium will be held on December 3. 2015 at the Pleasant Hill Community Center. Every four years local Contra Costa County watershed groups, community members, and representatives from the public and private sectors interested in creeks and watershed health come together to learn, get inspired and network. Topics will include: • Watersheds from an International View • Climate Change and Sea Level Rise in YOUR Watershed • Exciting Watershed Projects in Contra Costa County • Critters in the Creeks • Students and Teachers in Watersheds • Recognition of People Doing Good Things in the Creeks and Watersheds Hosted by special guest Doug McConnell of NBC's Open Road.
