Healthy Lands, Healthy People Richmond Focus Group - Urban Agriculture and the Built Environment
Thursday, June 9, 2022
Contra Costa County is conducting a feasibility study, 'Healthy Lands, Healthy People," to identify strategies to store carbon dioxide in our county through a variety of land uses.
You’re invited to join one of our June focus groups where we aim to engage Contra Costa County agricultural producers and land managers to understand the role of climate-smart agriculture in the region, including on urban farms/gardens, and landscapes.
Participating in these focus groups will offer you the opportunity to learn more about carbon sequestration and climate-smart agriculture, share your knowledge, and give feedback on practices that capture and store carbon, conserve natural resources, and fight climate change locally!
