Super Bowl 50 is expected to bring record traffic to all bay area airports, including Buchanan Field in Concord. People living in the area around the airport may find more noise than usual with corporate jets arriving in advance of the game.
Contra Costa CountyAirports is prepared for the extra traffic, and will be increasing staffing and security. For private pilots, there will be restrictions on the availability of landing slots during the days around the Super Bowl.
