The County Administrator has signed a proclamation of local emergency, paving the way for potential future funding to assist with repairs to areas of the County damaged in the recent winter storm surge. Sinkholes and mudslides continue to be a problem.
Although it looks like the weather is improving this week, you may still want to consider getting sandbags in advance of the next storm.
The Board of Supervisors will meet on Thursday, January 26, at 8:30 a.m. to consider ratification of the emergency proclamation.
