Residents along Morgan Territory Road will be able to have limited, controlled use this Saturday, April 1, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. As with the temporary access on the 26th, there will be traffic control and speed restrictions in effect. We ask that residents who park along the side of the road make sure in advance that their vehicles are completely off the roadway.
Our geotechnical engineers have found that last week's rains did cause more movement in the roadway, but we are confident that it can be used again for a temporary route on Saturday.
We will re-evaluate the conditions after Saturday and look to an opportunity for additional temporary openings in the future; we have heard feedback from some residents that you would like to have it on a weekday. We'll be working with you to find a weekday that works best for as many of you as possible.
