Morgan Territory Road Updates

Posted on: March 31, 2017

[ARCHIVED] March 31: Limited temporary road access on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

County Public Works staff will be assisting on Saturday, April 1, with the temporary access to the closed portion of Morgan Territory Road.    Speeds should be limited to 5 MPH, and trailers will be allowed for the convenience of those of you who need to bring in our out more than your vehicle can accommodate.   Please note that no oversized loads will be allowed.  As long as your trailer doesn't require a special permit, it can be used safely on Saturday.

The access on Saturday will be from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Just a reminder that if you park along Morgan Territory Road, please make sure your car is completely off the roadway before 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning.  Local traffic only will be allowed through the slide area.

Following Saturday's access, engineers will once again check on the impact to the roadway to evaluate when it would be safe again to allow for residential traffic.

A quick note to residents who have been using the "loading zone" spot designated near the closure point:  please leave the barricades where they have been placed so that others can use the spot as well to drop off heavy packages or passengers before parking.  The loading zone is for the convenience of all residents.
