[ARCHIVED] April 14: Normal Garbage Service To Resume On Thursday, April 20

Now that Morgan Territory Road is open with temporary signals, Republic Services will resume normal garbage service on Thursday, April 20. Republic customers will no longer need to bag their garbage and can put their carts out for regular pick up. Republic will contact residents next Tuesday and Wednesday night letting them know of the return to normal service as long as Morgan Territory Road remains open.

Reminder:  The dumpster on the north side of the slide area will be available until April 24.  If you are a resident who currently does not have service with Republic, you will want to make arrangements with the company for trash and recycling pick up.  You can find their contact information here: or call directly at (925) 685-4711.

The first day of opening Morgan Territory Road went well and County staff will continue to monitor the slide area. The traffic signal cycle length is approximately 5 minutes. Please continue to follow the posted speed limit signs and the traffic signal to avoid conflicts through the slide area.
