Early next week, PG&E will begin the work on Morgan Territory Road to safely relocate two electric poles damaged by the landslide. The work is planned over two days, Monday, June 26, and Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
Two additional 70 – 80 foot poles will be installed just outside of the landslide area. For this work, on Monday, June 26, 2017, the Morgan Territory Road will be closed to vehicle traffic from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Pedestrian traffic will be allowed and guided through the area.
The temporary access road via Leon Drive to Marsh Creek Road will be available as a detour route for vehicle traffic during the closure of Morgan Territory Road on June 26, 2017.
PG&E will be temporarily interrupting your electric service in order to safely relocate the circuit onto the new poles. The planned electric service interruption is Tuesday, June 27, 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and affects the following vicinity or property addresses:
Morgan Territory Road, Curry Canyon Road, Meadow View Lane, Oak Hill Lane, Whispering Pines Road, Shale Cliff Court, Tumbleweed Court, Curry Creek Road, Leon Court, Leon Drive, Leon Way, Wirthman Lane, and N Peak Mt Diablo.
For the work on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Morgan Territory Road will be open with the signalized one-way traffic control. However there may be some delays to traffic during this work.
PG&E makes every effort to complete the work as scheduled, however, unsafe weather conditions or an unforeseen emergency may force us to cancel the work on the scheduled day. PG&E will make every effort to notify you in advance of a cancellation.
We greatly appreciate your cooperation and thank you for your patience.
