[ARCHIVED] August 2: Alternate Access Road Improvements

Access Road

The County Public Works Department plans to perform a surface treatment to the alternate access road next week. The surface treatment is to provide a more durable road surface and help with the loose gravel. Public Works will continue to perform ongoing maintenance.

Contractors will be on the access road on Tuesday, August 8 between 1pm and 6pm to grade and compact sections of the road. On Wednesday, August 9 between 9am and 3pm, the surface treatment will be applied to the road. During the work there will be traffic control with flaggers and delays of 20-30 minutes. Residents are encouraged to use the access road before 9am in order to minimize traffic on the access road during the surface treatment work.

Thank you for keeping speed to 15 miles per hour and for your continued patience as we improve the access road.

Morgan Territory Road Slide Repair Project

The slide repair project is underway. For the safety of residents and contractors on the job site, only County staff and construction workers are allowed past the road closed barriers. Residents going into an active construction site can create an unsafe situation for both themselves and construction workers.
