Due to unforeseen circumstances there has been a change in the schedule for the work on the alternate access road.
The County Public Works Department plans to perform a surface treatment to the alternate access on Thursday and Friday of this week. The surface treatment is to provide a more durable road surface and help with the loose gravel. Public Works will continue to perform ongoing maintenance.
Contractors will be on the access road on Thursday, August 10 between 1pm and 6pm to grade and compact sections of the road. On Friday, August 11 between 9am and 3pm, the surface treatment will be applied to the road. During the work there will be traffic control with flaggers and delays of 20-30 minutes. Residents are encouraged to use the access road before 9am in order to minimize traffic on the access road during the surface treatment work.
We apologize for this change in the schedule, but unforeseen equipment problems made completion of the scheduled work impossible.
