The Board of Supervisors has advanced 5 applicants for further consideration for the vacant position of District Attorney. Those applicants are currently attending a public forum will in the Board of Supervisors Chamber at 651 Pine Street in Martinez.
More than 200 written questions were submitted online for consideration earlier this month. Those were shared with the forum moderator, and they will be used for questions to be posed to the applicants during the first half of the forum. Those in attendance this evening have also submitted questions. Volunteers from the League of Women Voters are assisting with the sorting of those questions, and the moderator will choose from them for the second half of the forum.
The five applicants who are continuing in the process are: Diana Becton, Danielle Douglas, Paul Graves, Thomas Kensok and Patrick Vanier.
If you are interested in reviewing the applications submitted by those five as well as the other seven who applied, you can also find that information and much more on District Attorney Recruitment Information website.
