[ARCHIVED] Road Work in Martinez, Bay Point and Walnut Creek

Contra Costa Public Works to Upgrade Streets in Bay Point, 

Martinez and Walnut Creek

 

June 25, 2018, Martinez, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will apply an asphalt rubber chip seal covered with a slurry seal on selected streets in the Bay Point area, the unincorporated area in Martinez off Alhambra Valley Road, as well as the Overlook and Parkmead area of Walnut Creek. In addition, roads off Driftwood Drive north of Pacifica Ave, the Delta de Anza Trail from Bailey Rd to Bella Vista Ave., and the Clyde Path in Clyde will be receiving a slurry seal.


Chip seal work in Bay Point will last from June 25 – July 3, Martinez is scheduled for July 3 and road work in Walnut Creek will last from July 5 – July 12. Slurry seal work in Bay Point will last from July 5 – July 24, Martinez will be completed on July 25 and Walnut Creek will last from July 26 – August 3. These schedules may change and residents will be notified accordingly.


Funding for this project was financed with gas tax revenues provided by the SB1 Road Repair and Accountability Act. More information, including maps and timelines for these projects can be found here.
