Contra Costa County Public Works to Begin Construction
on Pacheco Boulevard in Martinez
July 31, 2018, Martinez, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will begin construction on the Pacheco Boulevard Sidewalk Gap Closure Project in Martinez. The work consists of installing a sidewalk, curb, and gutter at two locations, roadway widening, and an extension of the concrete box-culvert in Vine Hill Creek. Construction will begin on Tuesday, July 31st and will be completed by mid-October 2018, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Funding for this project is provided by State Active Transportation Program, Martinez Area-of-Benefit, Measure C, and gas tax revenues provided by the SB1 Road Repair and Accountability Act. More information for this project can be found at http://www.cccounty.us/pwdmap.
