Contra Costa County Public Works to Close Sidewalk and Parking Lot on

Main Street in Martinez Due to Construction 

 

August 7, 2018, Martinez, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will close a section of the current sidewalk and parking lot on Main Street between Pine Street and Grandview Avenue in Martinez, from Tuesday, August 14 through Wednesday, August 29, for the construction of a new sidewalk.

Aztec Consultants, the general contractor for the County’s new parking lot on Escobar Street, will demolish and replace the existing City sidewalk on Main Street. Signage will be posted, as neither the sidewalk nor the parking on the north side of Main Street will be available for the duration of this portion of the project.
