Contra Costa County Public Works to Begin Construction
on Tice Valley Boulevard in Walnut Creek
August 21, 2018, Walnut Creek, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will begin construction on the Tice Valley Linear Park Project in Walnut Creek. The work consists of constructing an asphalt and concrete pedestrian path, providing a bus turnout, roadway construction and realignment, signing and striping, flashing beacon pedestrian crossing, landscaping, and street furniture including a bus shelter. Construction will begin on Monday, August 27, 2018, and will be completed by early-November 2018, barring unforeseen circumstances.
Funding for this project is provided by Measure WW Park Bond Funds, South Walnut Creek Area of Benefit Funds, and gas tax revenues provided by the SB1 Road Repair and Accountability Act. More information for this project can be found at http://www.cccounty.us/pwdmap.
