[ARCHIVED] Consumer Scam Alert

Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office is issuing a consumer protection scam alert. Scammers are offering travel vouchers or a reduced travel package if the resident takes a survey and gives out their personal information. The callers are pretending to be from Costco Wholesale. To report any telephone scam please contact the Federal Trade Commission or call 1-877-FTC-HELP. You may also report the activity to the District Attorney’s Office by emailing DA-ReportFraud@contracostada.org or call 866-223-7283.
