[ARCHIVED] Main Street Closure in Martinez

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Contra Costa County Public Works to Close Main Street in Martinez Due to the New Administration Building Construction  

September 18, 2018, Martinez, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will close Main Street from the intersection of Pine Street to the driveway into the parking lot for the County Family Court Building. The closure will take place on Friday, September 21.

Aztec and Bay Cities Paving and Grading will cap and abandon a sewer line connection to the County Sanitary District main pipe, which is no longer in use. County employees using that lot should proceed to Ward Street (located to the south of Main Street) and turn left on Grandview Avenue to come down Main Street and access the lot. County employees using the larger upper lot should use the Ward Street egress. To receive alerts for the new County Administration building, please click here.
