Get ready for a fun and healthy way to get to work with Bike to Work Day. The Board of Supervisors has proclaimed May 9th, 2019 “Bike to Work Day” in Contra Costa County. The goal of the annual Bike to Work Day is to encourage those who do not usually commute to work by bicycle to try it!
Board Chair, Supervisor John Gioia said, “Contra Costa is proud to promote Bike to Work Day. Biking to work is healthy for our air and our bodies. Once people try it out, they realize that it could work for them, and they do it more regularly. Plus, it’s fun!”
