Contra Costa Public Works to Upgrade Streets in San Pablo,
Martinez, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek areas
July 10, 2019, Unincorporated Areas – Contra Costa County Public Works will apply a roadway surface treatment on selected streets in the unincorporated areas of San Pablo, Martinez, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek and on Taylor Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Road from Taylor Boulevard to the City of Walnut Creek.
Work in San Pablo (Montalvin and Bay View neighborhoods) is scheduled to start on July 15, 2019.
Work in Martinez, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek areas is scheduled to start on July 23, 2019.
Work on Taylor Boulevard and Pleasant Hill Road is scheduled to start on August 13, 2019.
The work will occur Monday through Friday between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm and with restrictions to minimize impacts during commute hours. Please note these schedules can change and if that does occur, residents will be notified.
Funding for this project is provided by gas tax revenues from the SB1 Road Repair and Accountability Act. More information for these projects, including maps and schedules can be found at http://www.cccounty.us/pwdmap.
