[ARCHIVED] PG&E Announces Potential Power Shutoff in Parts of Contra Costa County

Preparing For A Power Outage

PG&E has notified the County of a potential Public Service Power Shutoff (PSPS) for wildfire safety starting as early as Wednesday, October 14 evening. The PSPS may impact some customers in Alamo, Canyon, Clayton, Morgan Territory, Danville, Diablo, Orinda, and Walnut Creek.

PG&E Community Resource Centers:

PG&E will have two Community Resource Centers (CRC) in Contra Costa County. The CRCs will open on Wednesday, October 14, from 5 pm to 10 pm, and on October 15 and 16, from 8 am to 10 pm.

  • Costco Parking Lot, Castle Square Shopping Center at 3150 Fostoria Way, Danville
  • Arbolado Park, Arbolado Drive at Doncaster Drive in Walnut Creek

Both CRC locations will be outdoor and have the following Available Resources: device charging, small medical device charging,  ADA-accessible restroom and washing station, snacks and water, and Wi-Fi. Face covering required. Visit PG&E for more information on Community Resource Centers.
