Contra Costa County’s Board of Supervisors honored veterans at the 101st annual Veterans Day Celebration on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 in Board Chambers at 651 Pine Street, Martinez, CA.
This celebration event featured a color guard ceremony, a special presentation, and keynote speaker Jeffrey Jewell, U.S. Air Force Veteran who recently retired as the Director of the Concord Vet Center. He has served veterans across Contra Costa County.
Following the Veterans Day Ceremony in Board Chambers, the public concluded the celebration at the Martinez Veterans Memorial Building at 930 Ward Street (corner of Court Street and Ward Street) in Martinez with lunch.
