Contra Costa County Public Works Will Perform Tree Stump Grinding and Debris Removal at Fox Creek Park in Walnut Creek

February 20, 2020, Walnut Creek, CA – A Contra Costa County Public Works contractor will perform tree stump grinding and debris removal operations at Fox Creek Park, 118 Anthony Way, in Walnut Creek. The work is scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2020 through Friday, February 28, 2020 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting.  Fox Creek Park will be closed during this work. This work is designed to improve security, reduce maintenance and to prepare for planned park improvements to be installed later this year. Planned improvements include installing: new picnic tables, benches, bike racks and plants, as well as replacing park signage and the stair entry from Anthony Way.
