[ARCHIVED] Prepare Your Residence for Wildfire Season and Power Outages

Residents  Contra Costa  County Guide-1

Contra Costa County Fire Protection District and the Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office has prepared a guide for County residents to help prepare themselves, their families and neighbors in the event of a wildfire.

Register your cellphones with the Contra Costa Community Warning System (CWS). Also prepare your home by removing excess fuel from around your structures and be ready to evacuate when wildfire threatens. For more information about weed abatement and defensible space, please view Contra Costa County Fire Exterior Hazard Control Unit.
