Fire officials urge prevention and caution during a high wildfire danger season across Contra Costa County. Use of illegal fireworks is dangerous to people and property. Report illegal fireworks use to police non-emergency numbers. Call 1-833-885-2021 for non-emergency numbers to report illegal fireworks use. Report fires to 911 immediately. Visit Contra Costa County Fire Protection District for information on fireworks safety.
