[ARCHIVED] Contra Costa Public Works to Upgrade Streets in the Richmond area

October 27, 2020, Richmond, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will apply a Micro Surface Treatment to Richmond Parkway in the Richmond area. Work will begin on October 29, 2020 through November 30, 2020, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur between 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, with restrictions to minimize impacts during commute hours, weather permitting. Please note this schedule is subject to change. Work will take place from approximately 1500’ Southwest of Goodrick Ave to Gertrude Ave on Richmond Parkway, in North Richmond. 

 

Work will also include surface preparation, (edge grinding), tree trimming, striping removal and placement of thermoplastic striping and pavement markings. Current social distancing protocol will be observed.

 

Funding for this project was financed with gas tax revenues provided by the SB1 Road Repair and Accountability Act.
