[ARCHIVED] Tree Work on Iron Horse Trail in Danville

Contra Costa County Public Works and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District 

Will Perform Tree Trimming and Tree Removal on the Iron Horse Trail in Danville

 

November 10, 2020, Danville, CA – A contractor for Contra Costa County Public Works and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District will perform tree trimming and tree removal operations along the Iron Horse Trail, between Love Lane and Del Amigo Road, in Danville. The work will begin on Monday, November 16, 2020 through Friday, November 20, 2020, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting. Trail users may experience delays due to this work and should consider alternative routes during this period. Current social distancing protocol will be observed. 

 

This trail maintenance work is to improve trail user security, tree health, and fire safety for this portion of the Iron Horse Corridor. This is a cooperative project between Contra Costa County Public Works and the San Ramon Valley Unified School District and it supports improvements being made at the San Ramon Valley High School.
