[ARCHIVED] Tree Removal and Sidewalk Repair Work in Rodeo

Contra Costa County Public Works Begins Tree Work in Rodeo

 

November 23, 2020, Rodeo, CA - Contra Costa County Public Works Department will begin a tree removal and sidewalk repair project along Willow Avenue, between Mariners Pointe and Viewpointe Boulevard, in Rodeo. The work is scheduled to begin on November, 30, 2020 and last through December 18, 2020, barring unforeseen circumstances. The work will occur between 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday, weather permitting.      There will be lane closures and traffic control on the westbound side of Willow Avenue during this work. Drivers should expect delays. Current social distancing protocol will be observed. 

 

The work will include the removal of (5) Siberian Elm trees, which are causing lifted sidewalks. This work is designed to increase public safety.
