[ARCHIVED] Iron Horse Trail Construction Work-Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek

Construction Scheduled along the Iron Horse Trail in Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek.

 

January 8, 2021, Walnut Creek, CA– NBC Construction & Engineering will be improving landscaping along the Iron Horse Trail, between Treat Boulevard and Mayhew Way in Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek. Work will begin on Monday, January 11, 2021 and last through early June 2021, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur between 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting. Signage will be posted and trail users should avoid fenced-off areas. 

 

Scheduled work includes: installation of no/low-water use landscaping; additional benches and trash & recycling cans; as well as trimming/mulching of existing landscape. This work is designed to reduce long term maintenance costs as well as improve park and trail user’s security.
