Rain is here. Please be prepared and be safe.
Please avoid unnecessary travel and stay home if possible. If you need to drive, check traffic reports before heading out the door. Slow down, leave extra space between vehicles and watch out for flooding on roadways. Keep both hands on the wheel and leave your headlights on. Do not drive through standing water - turn around, do not drown.
If it is safe to do so, check your property for clogged drains, broken fences, and fallen trees/limbs.
Stay away from downed power lines and report them to 911. See PG&E power outage map for updates or contact PG&E at 1-800-743-5002. Preparing For A Power Outage (PDF) and Preparándose Para Un Apagón in Spanish (PDF).
