Contra Costa County Public Works to begin Construction on Alhambra Valley Road Realignment Project

 

April 22, 2021, Martinez Area, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will begin construction of the Alhambra Valley Road Realignment Project starting on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 through Friday, June 25, 2021. Work will occur between 8:30 am-4:00 pm, Monday-Friday, with restrictions to minimize impacts during commute hours. Drivers should expect delays. Work will take place west of Bear Creek Road and includes-installing temporary signal systems, roadway excavation and reconstruction, asphalt pavement, establishing a roadside ditch, slope grading, fencing, traffic control and roadway striping and signing.
