Contra Costa County Public Works will Perform Tree Removal Work along the Iron Horse Corridor in Danville

August 17, 2021, Danville, CA – The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will perform work to remove one (1) dead tree along the Iron Horse Corridor, between Wayne Avenue and Hartford Road, in Danville. The work is scheduled for Monday, August 23, 2021, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.  The section of the trail between Wayne Avenue and Hartford Road, in Danville, will remain open. Appropriate traffic control measures will be implemented to safely direct trail users during this time. Current social distancing protocol will be observed. This work is to improve trail, fire, and general safety along this portion of the Iron Horse Corridor.
