Public Works to Perform Weed Abatement Work for Fire Safety along the Iron Horse Trail
April 20, 2022, San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, CA – In preparation for the fire season, a Contra Costa County Public Works Department contractor will perform mowing along the Iron Horse Trail from Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon to Mayette Avenue in Concord through Tuesday, June 7, 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting.
This work is to improve trail, fire, and general safety along this portion of the Iron Horse Trail. The trail will not be blocked to pedestrian and/or bicycle access during this work activity.
