[ARCHIVED] Parking Lot Maintenance Work in Kensington

Contra Costa County Public Works will Perform Maintenance Work in the Parking Lot along Arlington Avenue in Kensington 

May 5, 2022, Kensington, CA – The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will perform maintenance work on the parking lot adjacent to Arlington Avenue, between Coventry Road and Ardmore Road, in Kensington. The work is scheduled for the following days, barring unforeseen circumstances:

  • Monday, May 9, 2022 – Tree trimming
  • Monday, May 16, 2022 – Parking lot pavement repairs
  • Tuesday, May 17, 2022 – Parking lot pavement repairs
  • Monday, May 23, 2022 – Parking lot striping and wheel-stop repairs

Work will occur from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., weather permitting. Access to the parking lot, as well as the pedestrian path adjacent to the parking lot, will be closed during working hours on Monday, May 9, 2022. Appropriate traffic control measures will be implemented to safely redirect pedestrians, bicyclists, and vehicles from the work area. “No Parking” signs will be posted in the parking area at least 48 hours before the beginning of the closure. Vehicles parked in the work area during work hours will be towed.
