Contra Costa County Public Works Announces Premiere of Episode 2 of Their “Inside Public Works” Series on Contra Costa Television
December 7, 2022, Martinez, CA -The Contra Costa County Public Works Department is excited to announce that the second episode of their regular series entitled “Inside Public Works” will premiere this Monday, December 12, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. on Contra Costa Television (CCTV). The episode will replay on Wednesday, 12/14/2022 at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, 12/15/2022 at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, 12/17/2022 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12/18/2022 at 5:30 p.m.
This episode of “Inside Public Works” offers viewers an opportunity to learn about Creek and Channel Safety Awareness, our Pavement Management Program, Contra Costa County’s Vision Zero Program, and an important project we recently completed in North Richmond. It also includes appearances by community members with Walnut Creek Intermediate, Verde Elementary School, Urban Tilth, and the North Richmond Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) as well as our colleagues with California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) and features many of our dedicated staff members.

We hope viewers will gain additional appreciation for the hard work done by our Public Works team of employees and learn some of the critical safety initiatives and programs implemented by our department to promote public safety into everything we do. This episode of “Inside Public Works” also highlights our departments important partnerships between our communities and other agencies and organizations to help us deliver quality projects that meet the diverse needs of our County. I am honored to work with such dedicated employees that work every day to improve the quality of life for all the residents of Contra Costa County.
