Contra Costa County Public Works to begin Construction on the Tara Hills Full Trash Capture Project
October 3, 2022, Tara Hills, CA – Contra Costa County Public Works will begin construction of the Tara Hills Full Trash Capture Project on Thursday, October 6, 2022, through Thursday, November 17, 2022, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur from 9:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday, weather permitting. Lane closures along Tara Hills Drive will be in place during construction activity at Flannery Road and Magee Avenue. Drivers should expect delays up to 10 minutes during construction.
The work to be done generally consists of excavation, shoring, installation of debris separating baffle boxes (DBSS), and pavement restoration.
