[ARCHIVED] Contra Costa County Shines Light of Hope and Support for Veterans

County Building at 10 Douglas Drive in Martinez lit green for veterans on November 7th, 2022

This coming Veterans Day, hundreds of counties are demonstrating appreciation and support for America’s veterans in a new way. County government buildings across the country, including our county building at 10 Douglas in Martinez, home to Contra Costa County Veterans Service Office, will be illuminated in green through November 13th as part of Operation Green Light for Veterans. The new initiative is spearheaded by the National Association of Counties (NACO) and the National Association of County Veteran Service Officers (NACVSO), sending the message that Veterans are seen, appreciated, and supported.
