Contra Costa County Public Work to Perform Road Work in Walnut Creek
(Updated) April 24, 2023, Walnut Creek, CA – The Contra Costa County Public Works Department will be performing road work at four (4) sites in Walnut Creek from Monday, April 17, 2023, through Thursday, April 27, 2023, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, barring unforeseen circumstances. Site 1 will be at the intersection of Buskirk Avenue and Wayne Drive, between Treat Boulevard and North I-680 on ramp. Sites 2 through 4 will be near the intersection of Oak Road and Jones Road, south of Treat Boulevard. The work will consist of repairing damaged curb and gutter areas to improve public safety.
There will be traffic control, including lane, shoulder, and sidewalk closures, through the work area. Drivers can expect delays. Road users are encouraged to consider alternative routes during these work hours.
