Contra Costa County Public Works Will Perform

Tree Trimming and Removal Along Danville Boulevard

September 14, 2023, Alamo, CA – A contractor for Contra Costa County Public Works will be performing tree trimming and removal operations along Danville Boulevard from Paseo Nogale to Entrada Verde in Alamo. Work will begin on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, and last through Thursday, October 5, 2023, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will occur between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, weather permitting.

Traffic control will be implemented. Drivers should expect 5–10-minute delays. This maintenance work will remove dead trees and trim live trees that present a hazard to the public. This work will improve public safety and tree health along Danville Boulevard.

Contra Costa County Public Works, Special Districts, has worked with an arborist to develop a tree management plan for the area. This will be the first phase of a planned multi-year project along Danville Boulevard that follows the tree management plan.
