Contra Costa County Public Works to Install New Play Structure at Montalvin Park
October 19, 2023, San Pablo, CA – A contractor for Contra Costa County Public Works will be installing a new play structure with an all-access component at Montalvin Park. Work will begin on Monday, October 23, 2023, and last through Friday, December 15, 2023, barring unforeseen circumstances. Work will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), weather permitting. The park will remain open during installation; however, park users may encounter staff and equipment during working hours.
This work will require closing a portion of the field at the park. Fencing will be installed around the work area for safety reasons. The new play structure will not be accessible while fencing is in place as walking on the surfacing before the curing process has completed can damage the finished product.
